Blackwood Club – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Blackwood Club, an exclusive firearms club and educational facility located at 266 Union Street, Northvale, NJ. By entering the premises, participating in training, or using our facilities, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and exceptional experience for all members and guests.

1. Membership & Access

  • All members must present valid government-issued ID and membership credentials upon entry.

  • Membership is non-transferable and subject to approval through our vetting process.

  • Guests must be accompanied by a member and approved in advance by Blackwood Club staff.

  • The Club reserves the right to deny or revoke membership for non-compliance with these terms or Club standards.

2. Safety & Firearm Handling

  • Safety is our highest priority. All members and guests must adhere to the Blackwood Safety Protocol at all times.

  • Only authorized firearms are permitted on the premises. All firearms must be registered with Club staff before use.

  • Loaded firearms are only allowed on the range and under controlled circumstances.

  • Muzzles must remain pointed downrange at all times. Finger off the trigger until ready to fire.

  • Use of personal ammunition is subject to inspection and approval by range officers.

3. Education & Training

  • All new members must complete a mandatory safety and orientation course prior to range access.

  • Advanced classes and tactical training are available and must be booked in advance.

  • Certified instructors and range officers are on site to supervise all live-fire activities.

4. Facility Use

  • Use of range lanes, private suites, or training simulators must be scheduled and is subject to availability.

  • Members are responsible for leaving their lanes and equipment clean and undamaged.

  • Proper attire, including eye and ear protection, is required on all ranges.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Members and guests are expected to uphold the highest standards of respect, safety, and discipline.

  • Alcohol, drugs, or any substance impairing judgment are strictly prohibited on Club property.

  • Any unsafe behavior, harassment, or aggressive conduct will result in immediate removal and potential membership termination.

6. Liability Waiver

  • By entering the premises, you acknowledge the inherent risks of firearms handling and voluntarily assume full responsibility for your safety and the safety of others.

  • You agree to release and hold harmless Blackwood Club, its employees, instructors, and affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising from injuries, accidents, or damages.

7. Personal Property

  • Blackwood Club is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items, including firearms.

  • Lockers and secured storage are available and must be used responsibly.

8. Privacy & Media

  • Due to the exclusive nature of the Club, photography and video recording are strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

  • Blackwood Club may occasionally document activities for promotional or archival purposes with member consent.

9. Amendments

  • Blackwood Club reserves the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes will be posted internally and/or communicated via official channels.

By signing up for membership, booking a class, or entering our facility, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions in full.
